Comme Arnold...qui disait 'I'll be back'...ben voilà, suis de retour...du moins un peu, encore bien des choses que je dois terminer, attend toujours mon nouvel ordi....je sais que lorsqu'il arrivera, il y aura encore des jours de silence..enfin, voilà pour un retour, un peu timide pour le moment...donc Noelle, le tableau acrylique, le pastel lui, ira probablement rejoindre la liste des 'terminés'
Like Arnold in the terminator...who had this beautiful line...'I'll be back' well I'm back, at least sort of...still things, many, to do, still waiting for this new computer, so expect a more spotty showing of new stuff or reworked, but at least, I be posting a few things, probably on and off for the next few weeks, one or two, then I'll probably be back for good...in the meantime, Noelle, the acrylic painting, the pastel will probably be heading for the storage of the finished ones...

Tant qu'à être parti, aussi bien continuer...donc me suis dit pourquoi ne pas faire la même ou à peu près, au pastel, souvent je reprends la même avec un autre médium mais souvent à des années de différence, je l'ai jamais fait en même temps, évidemment deux interprétations bien différente, en plus je n'avais plus de papier de couleur pâle, qui aurait convenu à l'arrière-plan, donc un papier brun...mais aussi je devrais présenter la photo recadré, encore une fois....
Well I was started, so why not keep going on, often I will do the same photo, in oil, pastel or acrylic, but usually there is a few years in between...never did it at the same time...was curious to see both interpretation, of course quite different developping side by side...but first I should show the recropped photo, suited for the paper size, another thing I was looking for a light colored paper to go with the background, did have only brown or dark blue, went for the brown paper...

Et voilà qui terminait cette journée un peu spéciale....retravaillé les deux aujourd'hui le pastel et l'acrylique, aussi les choses qui parfois viennent interférer le cours des choses ont refait surface...j'en dirai pas trop mais parfois je me demande pourquoi les choses qui devraient être simples deviennent si compliqués...bof reste la peinture et le pastel...:)), demain ben ce sera l'histoire en paste et acrylique d'aujourd'hui, moins les détails de certaines choses...
And this was the end of this upside down day....reworked both, pastel and acrylic today, and reworked or restirred, unwillingly those things that somehow come 'en travers' of my art....don't know why sometimes, things that should be so easy goes so wrong....well at least I do have painting and pastel...:)), so tomorrow I will show the 'suite' of these two works of art, but without the details of those things that we just don't know why they do happen...
Toujours impatient que j'étais hier soir...pas pris le temps d'appliquer les couches de gesso, oui opté pour l'acrylique....donc pris le restant d'une palette et mélangé un peu de couleur au gesso, que j'ai appliqué de manière texturé, en essayant d'esquisser sommairement la composition...
Was still quite impatient and restless last night...not even taking the time to apply a few coats of gesso, on that would be, acrylic painting...instead use some paint leftover from the stay-wet palette, and mixed pale shades of color, sketching roughly the composition...
