Finally back on the web from my home, but this post is actually written from the office, it was a bit too late last night and still much to do....so a quick upload of a photograph about a church in Hamburg, so it may be a Lutheran church, but I wont post a picture of Luther, I do not know if it is offensive to Lutherans to have him pictured, so I won't take any chance, so a picture of a church, in black and white, taken in Hamburg, long time ago....and I am glad to have my internet back at home...

May as well show the pic I did used a few days ago to modify the clothes and boots texture of one of my 3D models, actually the picture, a black and white shoot, was taken in Hamburg, part of a wharf, here it is...
As for the other post and 3D model where this picture was used as a texture for clothing and boots, you can see it by clicking below... Somewhere in Hamburg, there is that funny twisted chimney, and to add to the oddity of it, while developping my film, some mishap made this big white stain to appear in the negative....
So I did try to correct it in photoshop, did not expect much out of it, but here's the result, not the greatest shot I made,, but at least it is presentable....I did lost quite a bit of the chimney top but I don't think it is worthed to retouch again.... It was some day in November 1986, while waiting for a train in direction of Cologne, and it did cross my mind, why not trying to take a shot at the departure screen and some background, my scanner would not frame it correctly, it did not recognize it as a photo I guess...so a bit of forcing, and manipulations in photoshop gave me that photo, I like train station, or ferry boat station, or airports, they have something in common...leaving, travel....:) Donc bien sûr vous devinez sûrement que des photos d'Hambourg et de Cologne viendront élargir la collection...prochainement....
So if I was in Hamburg, going to Cologne, you probably are guessing that eventually I will post more pics of these two places...you're right, I just don't yet the timetable....:) |
