E-0020 finalement à jour... Updated, finally...

​Non pas pu récupérer ce que j’ai perdu de manière un peu stupide faut bien que je l’admette; je l’ai donc refait, cela m’arrivait aussi en travaillant sur un tableau ‘physique’ de perdre des choses, pas de la même manière, mais je devais aussi reprendre, donc rien de nouveau sous le soleil….la version retravaillée…

No I was not able to get back what was stupidly lost yesterday, so I have it redone, this did happened a few times, many while working on ‘physical’ canvas…not the first time, and when that happened, it was in other ways, all different ways to lose something, so I did what I am used to do, I have it redone…so the updated version…

​Je n’ai pas retravaillé les bottes et le manteau, je me garde cela pour une prochaine fois….par contre cette fois ci j’ai fait une utilisation un peu plus poussé des calques, un peu comme sur un tableau, on devrait, je dois admettre que je le fais bien trop rarement, commencer à placer le fond et laisser sortir les détails par la suite, trop souvent dans mes tableaux anciens, je peignais les détails beaucoup trop tôt et je devais constamment revenir en arrière, repeindre et refaire les choses plus détaillées, et souvent en prime je modifiais la scène ou changeait la pose, donc mes tableaux me demandent un temps fou…en digital, les calques on peut les conserver, faut seulement penser à travailler sur le bon, quoique comme je l’ai expérimenté, on peut toujours éditer et copier sur le bon calque… oui je le sais, je triche…:) donc trois images pour illustrer cela, au total cela donne ce qui est présenté au début de l’article…

I did not work much, if not at all on the bottom part, boots and coat, will keep that for next session…but did some extensive work on hair, face, eyes, fur collar and background, all that using layers to isolate each part, a bit like I should have done more often in ‘real painting’, getting the right tones for the background and working out the details, of course for most of my paintings, I could never stick to that, always getting into details too soon, realising that something is not right, bothering me, and overpainting it and redo the whole thing again, and often adding or modifying the scene or pose…so a painting is still taking me forever to complete…here I was more controlled, using layers, so just have to make sure I am working on the right one, if not, not a big thing, could always do erasing, adding or plain cut, copy and paste…yes cheating…:) So the next 3 images show the layers, the whole thing and layers being on producing the sketch presented at this post’s beginning.
