Si cela ne marche pas, on le répare… If it is broken, fix it

​Toujours un peu beaucoup en mode apprentissage et expérimentation avec mes logiciels d’animation et bien sûr de pose de modèles virtuelles, DAZ Studio et Poser, dans le cas de ce modèle en particulier, semble que DAZ ait modidié le mode de rendu, donc ce qui marchait bien avec Genesis version 3, ne fait plus le travail avec Genesis 8, en passant pas sûr ce qui est arrivé avec les versions 4 à 7…., donc oui un rendu mais loin d’être satisfaisant…

Still more or less, actually leaning toward more, in a learning process and experimentation with these 2 animating and posing softwares, DAZ Studio and Poser. More evident here going working with their model Genesis 3 to version 8, don’t know where went versions 4 to 7….but here applying the same rendering settings than for previous version, it did came out repeatidly quite unsatisfactory.

Genesis 8-001, rendu sans traitement, 23 juin 2024

​J’aurais pu refaire des rendus décents si je savais pourquoi ils sont si sous exposés, je crois maintenant savoir pourquoi et réussi à contourner le problème, en attendant j’ai plutôt eu recours à un outil que je connais un peu mieux, en jouant avec divers calques de réglages et aussi en dessinant ou plutôt en modifiant l’arrière plan, en fait le modèle est sur son calque, donc reste intact, le reste m’appartient…:D

I could have redoned the rendering, but at the time I was not sure what was the problem, so I did switch to a tool I am much more familiar, Photoshop…. I did isolate the model on a layer, so I won’t lose her trying to fix something, but I did create many more editing layers, and let myself go wild, but not too much, not by restrain, more because It was late and I decided to take a brake then, now I have a good idea what the problem was, but still quite fun to play this wy

​Aussi faut bien le dire, ceci ne sera qu’une photo référence pour un nouveau sketch, tableau, pastel ou autre…donc oui intéressant à modifier, mais pour le moment je dirais que cette image est plus de DAZ, ou Photoshop, et ou je devrais dire, tandis que l’esquisse, si c’est ce format, cela sera dans ma signature et style…

Besides, I must remind that this, notwithstanding my added touch, is still much more a rendering from the software DAZ, even if it is modified in Photoshop, but does not include much from my drawing…If this become a sketch, I am pretty sure you will recognize my style and signature, and won’t see much of the more ‘technical’ rendering, the render role is to be a reference photo for my art….
