Chronique d'une catastrophe annoncée...Tale of an annonced disaster....

Comme je l'écrivais, voilà quelques jours, des choses commençaient à m'agacer avec la toile de Kristen....sais pas pourquoi, mais avec l'acrylique, semble qu'après un certain temps, contrairement à la plupart des peintres que je connais qui utilisent l'acrylique,  je n'obtiens jamais l'éclat voulu dans mes couleurs, le contraste s'estompe et je parviens difficilement à donner des tons subtils et soyeux...comme j'ai besoin pour la robe de Kristen...donc ben oui passé à l'huile, un peu beaucoup sous le coup de l'exaspération...même si je sais que temporairement il m'en coûtera...de plus même si le visage était bien, il était mal positionné et je n'avais pas réussi à capter la direction du regard, pas évident sur la photo du bas, cela a empiré par la suite, et parfois j,oublie, presque volontairement...:) de prendre une photo...enfin...tout cela a fait que j'ai décidé de prendre le risque....j'espère que je ne regretterai pas, en me disant que je peux faire mieux avec mes tubes à l'huile...

Like I did wrote a few days ago, some things started bothering me with this painting of Kristen, don't know why, contrary to most of painters I know working with acrylic, more I worked on a painting, seems to me the colors are not taking a more vivid look, contrast is fading, and of course I still don't know how to render folds as good with acrylic than in oils...so I went for oil, knowing that a temporary cost come with this decision...in addition, although her face is well drawned, the proportion and direction of her look wasn't to my taste, actually it look pretty good on the picture, but it went bad, no picture taken...sometimes I forgot...or don't want...so went to oil a bit by exasperation, more because I think I can do better in the end with oil paints...

Maintenant la version à l'huile, retravaillée depuis....le visage écope...mais la lumière et les plis de la robe commencent à s'améliorer...du moins je le pense, donc je suis aurait ajouté Descartes...qui à moins que je ne sois dans l'erreur ne peignais pas...donc selon moi, on voit la lumière non pas au bout du tunnel mais de mes pinceaux et mes tubes à l'huile...:)
Now the oil version, reworked since...the face is not improving, but it was expected....but I think, therefore I am would have said Descartes, who as far as I know, wasn't a painter...so back to painting, the ligth, contrast and softness of the folds of her dress are improving, at least to my eye, so there is ligth, not at the end of the tunnel, but at the end of my brushes loaded with oil paint...
