Du nouveau...Something new...

Enfin plutôt une nouvelle, une acrylique, le modèle, une chanteuse, populaire voilà quelques années, une canadienne d’origine amérindienne qui a connu du succès dans le genre country, western, presque rock….Shania Twain, je ne suis pas un ‘fan’ invétéré, mais en peinture oui…je l’ai dessiné et peinte, 4 fois si je ne me trompe…donc je dois l’aimer…:)
Or more like a new one, a new acrylic, the model, a Canadian, actually amerindian, she had a lot of success as a country, folk singer, almost rock, Shania Twain, I’m not a dye hard fan, love a few of her albums, but I’m a great fan of her painting and drawing wise…I think it is the fourth time I paint or draw her….:) 

Bon revenons à la peinture, pour celle ci, j’ai repris une technique que j’ai utilisé récemment, je suis un peu paresseux, prends pas toujours le temps de préparer la toile adéquatement, donc décidé de peindre l’esquisse avec le gesso en y ajoutant du noir, et du blanc, et un peu de couleur, pour faire l’equisse de fond à partir d’une copie de la photo, voici les premières étapes.
Time to come back to painting…for this new one, I painted the sketch of Shania using gesso tainted with black and a little bit of color, so it was in the first stage much like a charcoal or ink drawing…I’m a bit lazy…don’t often take the time to prepare the canvas like it ‘should’ be done…:) here’s the first few stages
