La chose....The thing...

Il y avait de ces jours, et dans le nord le jour peut-être là des mois, où la seule chose à laquelle  on pense est...faut que je parte,...ou comme on dit ici 'je sacre mon camp...kriss (optionnel....), faut être du Québec pour vraiment comprendre... et d'autre fois où l'on apprécie grandement et réalise qu'on est privilégié d'être là...30 ans plus tard, je ne sais pas dans quel état d'esprit j'étais en prenant cette photo, mais je me sens nostalgique de ce temps-ci, je pense que j'étais heureux,...évidemment ceux et celles qui ont vu 'la chose' peuvent imaginer un autre scénario....un tireur fou embarqué à bord de l'hélico et essayant d'abattre un chien, en fait un horrible extra-terrestre polymorphe qui bouffe tout ce qu'il rencontre...par contre, en tant qu'extra-terrestre échoué ici, si c'était le cas, ben ce n'était pas une race que je connais...:)

There was some of those days, and up there they can last up to six months, or is it these days?, this is one of the English language fine detail I had and will never master I guess, but I am french so I guess this is ok...., so back to this day, that maybe, the only thing I could though is, 'Kriss, faut que je parte d'icitte...' translated from french quebecois as 'put in the swear of your choice' and ... I got to get out of here....!!!!' Honestly, thirty years later I can't tell what was my mood on that day, maybe I just want to go away, or maybe I was thankful for being there and enjoying something very few people had the opportunity to live...or maybe you can imagine something similar to John Carpenter The Thing' movie's...and on that helicopter is a mad man trying to shoot a dog...but of course it is not a dog, just a dangerous polymorph extra-terrestrial entity escaping the station, but as an extraterrestrial being marooned on this planet for a while, I don't think it is the case, at least it is not from a known species on my planet...:)
