Surprise...un port/ a port

Je ne sais pas pourquoi, mais l'image et les images que j'ai de la Normandie sont plutôt bucoliques, sauf bien sûr pour le port de Cherbourg, mais je ne m'attendais pas à voir de haut de ces toits des grues, donc un port, autre qu'un port de plaisance je présume, c'était toujours à Granville...donc ok ce n'est pas Hambourg, Rotterdam, mais un port ...vue de loin, je dois admettre que je n'ai pas marché jusque là...

I don't know why, but to me Normandy is more like bucolic landscape, not many industries, of course there is a large port in Cherbourg, but from the top of the stairs I did not anticipate to see big cranes, like the ones we see in most of seaport, I admit it is not Hamburg, or Rotterdam but I wasn't expecting to see something else than a marina, or something where small boats are coming, maybe it is not a large one, actually I did not walk up to there, so a distant view of wharf cranes, still in Granville, if I'm not wrong or my memory isn't playing tricks to me...
