Une nouvelle...oui/Yes... a new one

J'aurais pu continuer cette aquarelle, mais je pense que ce serait risqué...on sait jamais quelle direction il prendrait ce dessin ou peinture, enfin cette aquarelle, donc elle est terminée....
I could have kept working on this watercolor, but to me watercolor is a 'risky business', never know where it will go...

Et je me sentais fébrile...pas d'avoir commencé le travail...mais plutôt on se sent dans un état où l'on veut peindre ou dessiner sans trop faire attention,  mais parfois cette façon de se sentir, peut ruiner un tableau ou le transformer en chef d'oeuvre, pour pas prendre de chance de ruiner un tableau, pourquoi ne pas en commencer un nouveau....

And besides, sometimes you feel like a bit too 'febrile' (google say it is the right translation...?), which often is a good thing when drawing or painting, but can also ruin a good painting...so to be on the safe side, why not starting a new one....

Mais que peindre....et je me suis tourné vers 'ma muse', du moins en photo, Elizabeth Hurley....
but what would be that next painting, instead of asking myself the question on an on, why not going through the pictures of my favorite model,  Elizabeth Hurley...

Mais il se fait tard, les vacances sont malheureusement terminées, le tableau est commencé, me suis dit pour le fond, pourquoi ne pas utiliser un restant de palette, dilué à la térébenthine, et un chiffon, j'adore dessiner un peu comme au pastel, disons un pastel à l'huile, pour esquisser le fond de ce tableau...mais je dois travailler les photos avant de les présenter, donc la suite demain...

But it is unfortunately getting late, no longer on holidays...to start this painting, revert to an old method, paint thinned with solvent, a rag and drawing, with brush and my fingers, actually a cloth, give an unusual texture and more like drawing with pastels, or more like oil pastels....oil diluted paint with rag, raggy painting...well like I said it is definitely getting late, so a follow up probably tomorrow...
