Petite photo sortie de la 'voûte' celle de mes photos de voyage d'il y a longtemps, celle-ci prise le long d'une petite route en Normandie, lors d'une halte au cours d'une autre journée en vélo. un muret, champ, j'aimerais bien revivre cela un jour...

A photo taken long time ago, when travelling in Normandy, I was cycling though it then, in 1986, and somewhere along this small road I took a break and took a few pics...field, stone fence, quiet, ah I wish I would relive that again...

On ne fume pas près de ce bâtiment, il sert à la production d'hydrogène qui sera utilisé pour gonfler les ballons météorologiques envoyés deux fois par jour de cette station et de plusieurs autres semblables tout autour de l'arctique.

You don't smoke when near of one of these buildings, hydrogen is being produced in those, and it will be used to fill those weather balloons that goes into the high atmosphere twice a day, every station like this one around the Arctic doing the same.

Voilà bien des années, en 1983, le matin avant d'aller vers l'aéroport prendre l'avion pour Résolute Bay, première fois que j'allais là-bas, l.arctique canadien, et aussi Edmonton...

A long time ago, 1983, we were getting ready to go to the airport, catching a flight to Resolute Bay, for me it was my first trip to the Canadian Arctic, and also to Edmonton...

J'aime les ombrages et formes des structures, probablement un reliquat de mes études en ingénierie...donc un viaduc, surplombant la rue Chabanel à Montréal, et emprunté par les trains de banlieue.

I de like shades and forms of structures, probably something left over from my studying engineering, so an underpass, Chabanel street in Montreal, going under commuter trains deserving the northern suburbs of Montreal region.

Not quite really, more like taking a long walk around Eureka weather station sometimes in July or August 1983, on a day off...and enjoying the place..
