Un été caniculaire à Montréal, ceux qui me connaissent devinent comment je me sens....donc pour se rafraîchir quelque peu, des photos d'une période de plus en plus lointaine....j'allais régulièrement dans l'Arctique à cette époque là....quelques clichés pris en vol et autour d'Eureka, une station météorologique située sur l’île Ellesmere, Nunavut.

It is hot and humid here in Montreal, been like that all summer long, if you know me, you know this is not a happy time weather for me...I much prefer winter now....:) so to cool off a bit, a few pics of a distant time...when I was going up North, in the Arctic rather often, these were taken flying to Eureka Weather Station in May 83 and some later, walking around the station in August of the same year

Il n'a pas l'air très dangereux, mais faut s'en méfier, un jour j'en dirai plus sur ce redoutable animal...:)
It does not look very dangerous, but one day I will tell the story of this feared hunter of the North...:)

Enfin pas tout-à-fait, plutôt une longue marche autour de la station d'Eureka en juillet ou août 1983, en compagnie de collègues, une journée de congé à Eureka...

Not quite really, more like taking a long walk around Eureka weather station sometimes in July or August 1983, on a day off...and enjoying the place..
